Fiddles in the Valley: Cuje Bertram

Saturday, October 5, 2019

On October 5th at 5:00 PM CST, come out for the first "Fiddles in the Valley" program. For the first of our "Fiddles in the Valley" series, we will be featuring Cuje Bertram, an African-American fiddler from Fentress County. Cuje was well known for his smooth fiddling style and influenced many other musicians in the area. Join staff at Alvin C. York State Historic Park to learn Cuje's story, hear his music, and discover the connection between fiddlers in the Wolf River Valley. This program is free of charge and will meet at the visitor center.
