National Public Lands Day - Walking Through History

Saturday, September 28, 2019

Join us for our Meuse-Argonne Offensive event on September 28th. Seize this opportunity to learn more about the tactics employed by soldiers like Sgt. York and how they adapted to the terrain they encountered as they began to move the fight out of the trenches during the last major offensive of World War 1.

Meet at the Visitor Center at 10:00 AM for a hike along the Cemetery Trail, re-imagined as the Meuse River in the heart of the Argonne Forest. Wear comfortable footwear for hiking and bring a bottle of water. We look forward to seeing you there.
